A Modular Interface for the AbstractSwarm Multi-agent System

This chapter presents the new graphical user interface of AbstractSwarm, based on the Qt framework, which delivers a modular and cross-platform environment that can still integrate platform-specific APIs. A minimalist visual style for the multi-agent simulation interface is developed by applying clear design principles. A layered architectural pattern of the new interface enhances modularity and maintainability. The user’s focus on modeling and analyzing swarm behavior is prioritized and implemented.
