Adoption of Electric Public Transportation in Emerging Megacities: A TAM–TCV Approach for Sustainable Management
摘要
This study explores why Gen Z in emerging megacities like Ho Chi Minh City adopts electric public transport (EPT). By combining the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Theory of Consumption Values (TCV), we analyze how internal factors (knowledge, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use) and external factors (social influence, price value, enabling conditions) shape attitudes. Surveying 415 respondents, we found that knowledge boosts usefulness and ease of use, fostering positive attitudes. Crucially, social influence, price value, and enabling conditions strongly drive the final intention to use, offering key insights for policymakers.
