The Waves
摘要
This chapter introduces wave characteristics, elements, and classification, as well as wind conditions and statistical properties. It presents wave observation methods and random wave theory, with emphasis on wave spectra and engineering spectral models. It also describes design wave estimation methods for coastal engineering under different data conditions. Finally, it discusses wave propagation, deformation, and related theories in nearshore areas.
