Relationship and Its’ Practices
摘要
This chapter focuses on Relationship as the connective capability that sustains accompaniment and leadership practice. Grounded in ethical responsibility and mutual trust, relationships are explored as dynamic, formative, and mission-oriented. Four key practices are examined: establishing ethical foundations, nurturing trust and commitment, engaging communication as dialogue, and navigating problem-solving and conflict resolution. Drawing on relational theory, dialogical leadership, and Christian understandings of community, the chapter highlights the importance of integrity, intentionality, and shared meaning-making. Practical tools and reflective exercises support leaders in strengthening relational capacity within complex organisational environments. Through developmental analysis and applied scenarios, relationships are presented as the living tapestry through which accompaniment fosters collegiality, resilience, and collaborative leadership. The chapter emphasises that sustainable mission leadership is inseparable from the quality of relationships leaders cultivate.
