This chapter explores Presence as the foundational capability of accompaniment and effective leadership. Presence is understood as respectful, empathetic, and attentive engagement with oneself and others, enabling authentic encounter and meaningful dialogue. Four core practices are examined: assessing motivation and attitude, nurturing respect and empathy, cultivating deep listening, and managing personal and social energy. Drawing on theological anthropology, emotional intelligence, Indigenous wisdom traditions, and reflective leadership research, the chapter highlights presence as both a discipline and a way of being. Practical exercises, reflective prompts, and developmental indicators support leaders in strengthening attentiveness amid competing demands. Through structured self-assessment and applied scenarios, the chapter demonstrates how presence shapes relational trust, supports wellbeing, and opens leaders to the movement of the Spirit. Presence is framed not simply as a technique, but as an embodied expression of leadership grounded in faith.

摘要
