Research on the Influencing Factors of Non-Motorized Transport Behavior Among Residents of S District, Urumqi
摘要
With the acceleration of urbanization, the non-motorized transport system has become a crucial measure to alleviate traffic congestion, and its optimization and improvement have become important issues for sustainable urban development. As a typical old district, S District in Urumqi faces a prominent contradiction between the rapid increase in the number of motor vehicles and limited road resources, making it urgent for non-motorized transport to share the pressure. This paper takes S District of Urumqi as the research object and, based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the Attitude-Behavior-Context (ABC) theory, constructs a model of factors influencing residents' travel behavior through literature review and theoretical integration. Using questionnaire survey data, the paper empirically tests the path relationships between variables and quantitatively verifies the theoretical hypotheses using structural equation modeling. The study finds that environmental context and behavioral attitude are the core factors driving non-motorized travel intention, that travel intention significantly positively affects actual behavior, and that the environmental context plays a positive moderating role in the "intention-behavior" conversion process.
