Development of an NVH Testing and Evaluation System for New Energy Vehicles
摘要
With the rising market share of new energy vehicles (NEVs) and growing customer demand for ride comfort, NVH performance—a critical factor influencing driving experience—has become a focal point for both automakers and customers. To address diverse needs and enhance satisfaction, this study develops a customer-centric NVH testing and evaluation system tailored for NEVs manufacturing process. The system’s foundation was laid through three key preparatory phases: (1) Establishing a comprehensive NVH hardware infrastructure, (2) Upgrading technical competencies of NVH personnel, and (3) Implementing customer-focused data platform. Leveraging real customer feedback, the final framework integrates multidimensional, agile evaluation methods, combining objective testing (aligned with national/industry standards), subjective assessments, EV-specific scenario validations, global benchmarking, and lab-based precision analysis. This multi-functional system delivers great support: defining NVH targets during research development, enabling cross-model/benchmark comparisons, and ensuring quality control in production. It serves as a practical reference for NEV manufacturers to balance technical rigor with customer expectations.
