Distal Femur Resection and Reconstruction
摘要
The knee is the most frequent site of primary bone tumours. A majority of the tumours arising in the knee can be treated with limb sparing surgery. Resection of a malignant distal femur tumour is reliable, safe and reconstruction with an endoprosthesis which enables immediate weight bearing, maintenance of joint mobility and early return to activities. Functional outcomes are generally good to excellent with good range of knee motion enabling activities of daily living.
