Axillary Tumour and Shoulder Girdle
摘要
The axillary and para scapulae shoulder girdle are complex areas with unique functions. A major neurovascular bundle supplies the upper limb and runs across the clavicle and main part of the axillary content. The shoulder girdle muscle, inserted mainly in the scapulae, accomplishes main shoulder function. Understanding the anatomical correlation to these structures and evaluating their involvement by the sarcoma are important for surgical and treatment planning. Surgical morbidity, quality of the surgery and margin and adjuvant treatment morbidity are important aspects of discussion prior to intervention.
