Application of Adaptive Filtering Algorithm in Computer Multimedia Audio Signal Processing

摘要

With the rapid development of information technology, the importance of audio signal processing in the field of computer multimedia has become increasingly prominent, which is directly related to audio quality, communication efficiency and user experience. However, the traditional fixed filtering algorithm often has unsatisfactory filtering effects when facing complex and changeable audio signals. The adaptive filtering algorithm has brought new breakthroughs in audio signal processing by virtue of its ability to dynamically adjust the filtering parameters according to the signal characteristics. In view of this, this paper deeply explores the application of adaptive filtering algorithm in computer multimedia audio signal processing to improve the quality and efficiency of audio processing. Based on the dynamic analysis of signal characteristics, this paper constructs an adaptive filtering model suitable for audio signal processing. Through experimental verification, this paper evaluates the effectiveness of adaptive filtering algorithm in actual audio processing. Experimental data strongly proves that compared with the traditional fixed filtering algorithm, the adaptive filtering algorithm can show better filtering effects in a variety of noise environments, effectively improving the clarity and intelligibility of audio signals. Its noise reduction effect is improved by about 20% - 30%, and the audio quality score is improved by an average of 1–2 points (out of 5 points). However, it still has certain limitations when processing extremely high-frequency or extremely low-frequency noise.
