摘要

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a comprehensive discipline that combines geography and cartography, as well as remote sensing and computer science. It has been widely applied in different fields and is a computer system used for inputting, storing, querying, analyzing, and displaying geographic data. GIS is a computer-based tool that can analyze and process spatial information (in short, on Earth). GIS technology combines the unique visual effects and geographic analysis functions of maps with general database operations such as querying and statistical analysis. In response to the increasingly serious ecological and environmental problems, governments at all levels in China are actively working to improve the environment and strengthen ecological construction. In this context, this article mainly focuses on the design of climate monitoring and disaster warning systems based on GIS. Firstly, relevant research is summarized, relevant application methods are proposed, and the results are discussed. I hope to bring some inspiration to relevant researchers and provide assistance for the development of related fields. The comparative analysis highlights the system’s robustness and adaptability, demonstrating its potential as a superior tool in climate-related disaster management.
