Rapid Detection Method for Rice Fungal Toxins Based on High-Throughput Sequencing Technology

摘要

In this paper, a rapid method for the detection of mycotoxins in rice grains based on high-throughput sequencing technology is proposed. The method is capable of efficiently and accurately detecting mycotoxins in rice grains, and is characterized by easy operation and high detection sensitivity. In this study, its performance was evaluated by a series of experiments. In the sensitivity assessment, the assay showed good linear response over the mycotoxin concentration range of 0.1 ng/mL to 100 ng/mL. In the specificity assessment, the mean signal intensity of the mycotoxin-containing samples was 3500 ± 100, while the mean signal intensity of the negative control samples was 50 ± 10. In the detection time evaluation, the whole detection process took an average of 162.6 min. Repeatability assessment showed that the average value of signal strength for ten detections was 3499 ± 11.5 with a relative standard deviation of 0.33%. From the conclusions of the data, the high-throughput sequencing-based technology has excellent performance in terms of sensitivity, specificity, detection time and reproducibility, with good practicality and reliability.
