Updating and Using 3D Point Cloud Data for Road Structures with Multiple Measurement Devices
摘要
In road maintenance, it is necessary to construct an environment that manages three-dimensional (3D) data and maintenance information. The primary objective of this research was to support road maintenance work and develop a maintenance system that uses 3D data by combining measurement 3D data from multiple measurement devices. 3D point cloud data associated with information in a maintenance system can be used to maintain road structures, pavement, or objects sustainably. However, a maintenance system must be able to identify the shape of objects and allow intuitive updates. If the latest data cannot be used in maintenance work, it takes time to reflect road feature updates. Here, a 3D database for road maintenance is built and features are updated by partially updating existing 3D data with data measured by a terrestrial laser scanner and camera. The update method for improving the recency of data is verified.
