Metaverse-Enabled Instructional Design for Immersive Postgraduate Simulation Courses in Logistics: Kanban Case Study
摘要
This paper aims to advance the field of instructional design by proposing a new framework that facilitates the creation of metaverse-enabled immersive of postgraduate simulation courses. The proposed instructional design framework is mainly based on the principles of the well-known ADDIE model. Moreover, by leveraging the potential of the metaverse and related immersive technologies, we seek to address existing challenges in postgraduate logistics education and provide a pathway for future developments in immersive learning through a specific case study on the Kanban simulation game. The proposed work not only contributes to the ongoing evolution of educational practices in the rapidly changing landscape of logistics but also aims to enhance student readiness for practical industry demands.
