Natural Language Processing for AI-Enabled Medical Documentation
摘要
The addition of natural language processing (NLP) to the documentation of healthcare delivery is changing the way medical records are put together, maintained and examined in a big way. Healthcare staff members might minimize the stress of administrative work whereas also improving their precision and effectiveness by using computerized speech transcription, computerized clinical note production, and medical coding automation. A further method that decision support and predictive analytics contribute to making clinical decisions better is by finding useful information in huge medical datasets. Nonetheless, there remains problems that need to be ameliorated, that include interoperability, contextual accuracy, and data privacy. In the near future, advancements will have to be made to improve models for deep learning to make them easier to understand, and make sure that systems work well together so that people can use them without any problems. The ongoing progress of smart automation might influence the way healthcare professionals’ document things by cutting down on unused time and accelerating up workflows, and ultimately improving the care that patients receive, which natural language processing (NLP) and artificial intelligence (AI) do to make documentation easier, including the main benefits, problems, and possible new directions.
