This qualitative study investigates the role of the digital collaboration tool Padlet in promoting student engagement in an undergraduate English Literature course. With the shift toward blended and technology-enhanced learning, tools like Padlet have become increasingly popular for nurturing interactivity and collaboration among students. Using semi-structured interviews, this research explores students’ perceptions of Padlet’s impact on their learning experience, focusing on emotional, cognitive, and social engagement. The findings reveal that Padlet facilitated collaborative learning by enabling students to share ideas, reflect on course content, and participate in group discussions through interactive features such as graphical organizers and multimedia resources. Participants reported that the platform enhanced their motivation, comprehension, and ability to connect theoretical concepts with practical application, thereby developing deeper engagement with the course material. Despite these limitations, the study highlights the potential of Padlet to serve as a valuable tool for enhancing learning engagement, particularly in culturally specific contexts like Hong Kong.

摘要
