Based on Spearman and Pearson Analysis, the Main Controlling Factors of Shale Oil Productivity in the Ordos Basin and Optimization of Fracturing Scale—Taking the Shale Oil from the Yanchang Oilfield as an Example

In the Ordos Basin, the Chang 7 reservoir is a typical shale oil reservoir, influenced by lithological characteristics, physical properties, oil saturation, crude oil properties, and engineering mechanical properties. After hydraulic fracturing transformation, the production capacity of the Chang 7 reservoir is unstable, and the main controlling factors affecting production capacity are unclear, leading to significant challenges in scale development. The reservoir vertically exhibits multiple oil-bearing layers, but individual sand bodies are thin, with rapid lithological changes, poor lateral continuity of sand bodies, significant variations in oil saturation, and strong heterogeneity [1]. Shale oil production capacity is influenced by various factors, including geological features, reservoir conditions, reservoir properties, and fracturing techniques, severely constraining the effective development of shale oil in the Ordos Basin. Based on the physical properties of the reservoir in the study area and production data from single well regions, this study clarifies the production characteristics of the Chang 7 shale oil. Through Spearman and Pearson correlation coefficient analysis of the main controlling factors affecting shale oil production in the Yanchang oilfield, this research aims to continuously optimize production processes and technological methods to achieve sustainable growth and utilization of shale oil production capacity, providing important technical guidance and support for the development and sustainability of the shale oil industry.
