Research on Efficient Development Methods for Carbonate Reservoirs in the South Turgai Basin: Taking the K Oilfield as an Example

摘要

The K oilfield is located at the northern end of the Aksai Uplift in the South Turgai Basin. It is a massive reservoir of buried hill carbonate rock with complex characteristics of pore, cave and fracture development. The development of different pores, caves and fractures has a great impact on the productivity of oil wells. During the production process of oil wells, there are problems such as insufficient liquid supply in areas without cave and fracture development and rapid increase of water cut in areas with fracture development. In order to determine the development characteristics of pores, caves and fractures in the plane and profile, and to formulate a reasonable development method according to the distribution characteristics of pores, caves and fractures, this study predicts the development characteristics of pores, caves and fractures in the whole oilfield by optimizing the processing of seismic data and combining well and seismic data, and predicts the development characteristics of pores, caves and fractures in the whole oilfield based on the seismic reflection characteristics and attribute characteristics. And put forward the efficient development method of deploying infilling wells in fracture development areas, progressive development area wells in cave development areas, and carrying out volume fracturing in difficult-to-move reservoirs without cave and fracture development. Through the study, it is determined that the development effect of the oilfield can be improved by deploying new wells and volume fracturing, and a high-efficiency development plan for the reservoir can be formulated accordingly, which can increase the daily oil production level of the oilfield by 0.7 times, and has guiding significance for the adjustment of the development plan of carbonate reservoirs in the next stage.
