The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into agriculture is transforming the sector by addressing critical challenges such as food security, sustainability, and climate resilience. This chapter examines the latest trends and applications of AI in agriculture, including precision farming, autonomous machinery, and disease detection. By leveraging advanced tools such as machine learning, computer vision, and the Internet of Things (IoT), AI enhances decision-making, optimizes resource utilization, and boosts productivity. Moreover, AI-driven innovations, such as automated irrigation systems and predictive analytics, promote sustainable farming practices while minimizing environmental impact. Despite its transformative potential, the widespread adoption of AI faces several challenges, including high implementation costs, data management complexities, and the need for farmer training. The chapter emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and the development of cost-effective, scalable solutions to ensure equitable access to AI technologies.
