Analysis of Problems and Solutions for Constant Current Plug in Applications

摘要

In order to improve the efficiency of measurement and adjustment of stratified water injection wells and solve the contradiction between measurement and adjustment demand and measurement and adjustment ability, the constant current plug technology has achieved good results in No.8 Plant, but in the process of use, it encountered some problems such as high oil pressure rise, high failure rate and blockage of the plug. In this paper, the application effect of constant current plug under different conditions is quantified from the influencing factors such as well conditions, pump pressure difference, water quality and reservoir physical properties, so that it is clear that the constant current plug should be selected in water injection wells with formation flattening thickness above 1.5 m, water injection intensity below 5 m3/m · d and pump pressure difference within 3-10 MPa, and the constant current plug should be optimized and improved at the same time. Comparing the pressure changes of 89 wells with new constant current plug before and after testing, the average pressure increase is only 0.7 MPa, the service life of test data is extended by 0.35 months, and the effective time of plug is increased to 8.51 months, which effectively reduces the plugging phenomenon of plug and prolongs the service life of test data.
