Application and Effect Analysis of Temporary Plugging and Diverting Fracturing and Multi-fracture Fracturing Technology in Well Group a in Tertiary-Main Layers Exploited Area

Due to the characteristics of Tertiary-Main layers that are thin thickness, low permeability, low porosity and low oil saturation, conventional fracturing technology is difficult to effectively improve the injection and production capacity of well groups. For an exploitation area of Tertiary-Main layers, temporary plugging and diverting fracturing and multi-fracture fracturing are combined to improve the effect of reservoir reconstruction and increase the injection and production capacity. Taking Well Group A as an example, by analyzing the geological characteristics and development difficulties of Well Group A, and through indoor simulation experiments and field tests, the fracturing interval, proppant and temporary plugging agent were optimized, and a fracturing technology plan was formulated. After the implementation, the injection-production profile of Well Group A has been significantly improved, the production direction on the plane has increased, and the number of vertical injected and produced layers has increased. According to the production situation of the well group, the average daily oil production per well of the well group increased by nearly double after the measure, the water cut decreased by 2.3 percentage points. The research results show that the combination of temporary plugging and diverting fracturing and multi-fracture fracturing not only achieves effective fracture redirection in the horizontal plane expanding the drainage area, but also increases the number of effective fractures in the vertical direction, thereby improving reservoir stimulation coverage. The technology has good adaptability in Tertiary-Main layers.
