Research and Application of Wellbore Electric Heating for Wax Clearing and Prevention in Thin Oil Well
摘要
The crude oil in block A of Xinjiang oilfield has high physical viscosity (50℃: 2.2mPa·s–1087mPa·s), high wax content (>10%), and high freezing point (around 20 ℃). During the lifting process, as the temperature and pressure of the formation gradually reduced, wax dissolved in the crude oil crystallizes and adheres to the tubing and sucker rod, causing wax blockage and sticking in the wellbore, seriously affecting the normal production of the oil well. The conventional hot washing process has low wax clearing efficiency and high frequency, and there are problems such as large leakage and difficulty build effective cyclic wax clearing. Targeted introduction of wellbore electric heating wax clearing and prevention technology. The average temperature of the produced liquid at the wellhead increased by 6 ℃, and the pump efficiency of a single well increased by more than 10%. It effectively solves the problem of lifting difficulties caused by wellbore wax precipitation and provides technical support and experience reference for efficient crude oil development.
