Development and Application of a New Type of Packer for Ultra-Low Permeability Oil Fields
摘要
After the casing of an oil well is damaged, a packer is generally used for isolation treatment. With the extension of production time, the wellbore condition becomes increasingly complicated due to factors such as corrosion and scaling. Conventional isolation tools are also exposed to be insufficient. Conventional isolation treatment can easily cause the pipe string to bend, which resulting in severe eccentric wear, frequent operations, severe damage to the casing of the broken well, and no effective isolation position, making the treatment difficult; During simultaneous operations, the backflow of formation water pollutes the reservoir, ultimately leading to a decrease in production and affecting the efficiency of oil well development [1]. This article focuses on the above-mentioned issues and conducts research and application of LEP long-acting packers, achieving good results.
