The Application of Casing Milling and Forging Technology in the Mabei Gas Field
摘要
This study aims to explore the application of casing milling and reaming technology in the plugging of old wells in the Mabei Gas Field, to address technical challenges under complex conditions and enhance the efficiency of gas field development and maintenance. The research scope covers the entire process from scheme design to completion of construction, with a focus on analyzing key links and problem-solving strategies during the implementation of the process. A systematic approach was adopted, starting with the detailed formulation of the milling and reaming plan and comprehensive preparations before construction to ensure that equipment, materials, and personnel are in place. Subsequently, through construction operations, the specific steps of casing milling, reaming, and plugging were recorded and analyzed. During the construction process, technical parameters and operation procedures were promptly adjusted in response to encountered problems to ensure the smooth progress of the construction. The research results show that the application of casing milling and reaming technology in Well Mabei 2-21 achieved remarkable results, successfully realizing the efficient plugging of the old well. Through practice, a set of construction procedures and technical key points suitable for complex conditions was summarized, providing valuable experience for the development and maintenance of gas fields. The innovation of this study lies in the first application of casing milling and reaming technology to the plugging of old wells in the Mabei Gas Field, expanding the application scope of this technology. The technical contribution is the provision of a complete construction plan and problem-solving solutions, offering new technical references and practical experience for the field of gas field development and maintenance, with significant promotion value.
