摘要

In response to the frequent overturning and large drop of oil pipelines in Changqing Oilfield, with the increase of pipeline age, due to the existence of corrosion perforation leakage, oil pipeline leakage accidents occur from time to time, which will lead to a series of adverse consequences such as crude oil leakage, environmental pollution, etc. Patrol, production stoppage, emergency rescue, and leak repair require a large amount of manpower and material resources, and a lot of time, resulting in huge economic losses. We have developed an online monitoring system for corrosion and leakage of oil pipelines. Sound wave sensors are installed at both ends of the pipeline to receive and monitor the infrasound signals generated inside the pipeline in real time, determine whether a leak has occurred, and finally calculate the location of the leak based on the time difference between the infrasound signals reaching both ends of the pipeline. The pressure and flow rate of the oil pipeline are used as auxiliary evaluation parameters for leak monitoring, which can enable timely handling of emergencies and minimize losses, thereby ensuring that national property and environment are protected from damage and that oil field production operates normally. In 2024, the application was carried out on 10 oil pipelines in the oilfield, which can provide the overall operating status of the oil pipelines, effectively prevent and control the occurrence of safety accidents, minimize economic losses, protect the environment, and ensure the safe and balanced operation of the oil pipelines, with high economic and social benefits.
