Tripartite Panorama: Navigating Chinese Global Tripartite Cooperation Projects

This chapter provides an overview of Chinese tripartite cooperation projects, focusing on their current working mechanisms and development trends. The first section demonstrates the cooperation mechanism, the original classification system, and a new process system for Chinese tripartite cooperation projects. The second section illustrates the development of China-led tripartite cooperation projects, including their development across different time periods, industrial sectors, and geographical distribution. The third section examines the roles played by China, partner countries, and beneficiary countries in tripartite cooperation projects and analyses their actions to participate in these projects. The findings of the second and third sections are based on the established database of 68 tripartite cooperation projects (see Appendix B). I used descriptive statistics to identify trends and patterns in global tripartite cooperation involving China.
