This paper focuses on planning and designing a multipurpose indoor stadium located at Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering (SNGCE). The basic aim is to construct a contemporary, all-round facility that serves various purposes including sporting activities, events of cultural nature, as well as academic meetings thus increasing student’s participation and improving life on campus. The architectural planning was carried out using AutoCAD for detailed 2D drafting and Revit for developing comprehensive 3D models to ensure accurate visualization and spatial planning. The structural design and analysis were performed using STAAD Pro V8i. The design phase incorporated the selection of an arched roof truss for the stadium, chosen for its ability to span large areas cost-effectively while maintaining structural integrity. The roof structure was optimized for material usage and designed to accommodate various loads, including wind and live loads, as per Indian Standards.
