Analysis of the Impact of e-CNY on the Development of Public Transportation Enterprises Based on System Dynamics

With the gradual expansion of the urban scope of China’s e-CNY pilot, its application fields are also expanding and enriching, and it also has excellent application prospects in the high-frequency payment scenario in the field of public transportation. However, at present, in the process of the application and promotion of e-CNY, public transportation operating companies have a wide range of problems such as insufficient reference basis for decision-making. Based on the actual business process and desensitization data of a public transport operating company, this study modeled the impact parameters of e-CNY on the development of public transport enterprises, and analyzed the factors that may affect the change of the number of e-CNY users in real situations. It mainly includes the fierce competition in the market, the market potential and the user’s perceived value mainly determined by the digital red packet promotion activities. Among them, the digital red packet promotion activities, which are launched irregularly by relevant government departments, are the primary influencing factors. This paper systematically analyzes the impact of e-CNY co-branded cards on the development of their traditional business under the behavior of digital red packet delivery, and provides suggestions and measures with practical application value for relevant enterprises, which can promote enterprises to make better use of the data advantages of public transport enterprises. Mining the value of data to realize the transformation to science and technology enterprises; On the other hand, it can also specifically assess the impact of the national promotion of e-CNY on the development of enterprises, and prepare for the impact of the popularity of e-CNY on traditional transportation payment methods in the future.
