Optimization Strategy of Traffic Organization at Intersections

Road intersection is not only a vital part of the transportation network, but also a place where accidents occur frequently. Improving the design level of road intersection is an important way to increase the traffic network performance and reduce the number of accidents. In this paper, the channelization, safety engineering and geometric design of road intersection are studied, and the opinions and measures on improving the management of road intersection project are given. The purpose is to improve the management level of intersection, so as to reduce the incidence of intersection accidents, reduce the casualties and property losses caused by accidents, and provide reference for engineering designers and management departments.
