LLMs for Evolutionary Optimization

To implement large language model-assisted evolutionary computation (LLMAEC) algorithms efficiently, the programmer needs to know how to integrate the LLM into the evolutionary cycle properly. This may include using LLMs to select and design evolutionary operators, optimize evolutionary computation (EC) parameters, evaluate the fitness of EC models, or even use LLMs for program synthesis. Advanced users may even fine-tune their LLMs with additional knowledge of EC algorithms, improving system reliability.
