Dispersion Estimates and Asymptotics for the Inviscid Boussinesq Equations with Stable Stratification

We review the results in [30, 32] on the initial value problem for the inviscid Boussinesq equations with stable stratification in two and three spatial dimensions. We discuss the dispersive and the space-time estimates for the linear propagators, and the convergences of solutions in the strongly stratified limit.
