摘要

This chapter explores the development and application of liquid organic fertilizers (LOFs) derived from agricultural and food waste for use in organic and natural farming systems. Emphasis is placed on three main types of fermented organic fertilizers: Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ), Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ), and Fermented Fish Amino Acid (FAA). These formulations are produced using simple fermentation techniques involving plant materials, fruits, and fish waste mixed with brown sugar or molasses, promoting the activity of beneficial microorganisms. Detailed procedures for preparing each type of juice are described, along with their chemical compositions, including essential macro- and micronutrients. The study highlights the role of these fertilizers in enhancing soil fertility, plant nutrition, and crop yields, while minimizing environmental impacts commonly associated with synthetic fertilizers. Field application methods and dilution recommendations are also provided. The results underscore the potential of LOFs as sustainable, eco-friendly alternatives for improving agricultural productivity in both small- and large-scale farming systems.
