Synergized Design Thinking (SynDT): Reconceptualizing Theoretical Possibilities for Design Thinking
摘要
This chapter presents a theoretical consolidation of design thinking through examining the perspectives that have emerged from both literature and the cases presented. It recommends that the diverse views of design thinking can be reconciled through the Synergized Design Thinking (SynDT) framework that approaches design thinking as having four modes: process-driven design thinking, craft-driven design thinking, designerly thinking, and context-driven design thinking. The chapter ends by pointing to the potential use of the SynDT framework for guiding instructional action.
