Anti-terrorism and Conflicts
摘要
Armed conflict and terrorism remain among the gravest threats to human life and global stability. They are not merely security threats but also profound violations of human rights that erode the social, economic, and political foundations necessary for justice to flourish. The Global Justice Index conceptualizes justice not just as the absence of harm but also as the active presence of conditions that allow individuals and communities to thrive. In this context, anti-terrorism and conflict resolution are critical dimensions. The persistence of violence destroys infrastructure, displaces populations, and diverts resources away from essential public goods like healthcare and education, thereby perpetuating cycles of poverty and inequality. Therefore, measuring national contributions to peace and security is essential for a comprehensive assessment of global justice.
