A Precise Blocking Recloser Scheme for Distribution Lines

Develop and apply precise blocking recloser devices for distribution lines to solve the problem of insufficient short-circuit resistance of transformers in substations. The article analyzes the evaluation method of the short-circuit current resistance ability of power transformers and obtains the evaluation results of the short-circuit resistance ability of transformers in Yunnan power grid; A precise blocking recloser scheme for distribution lines based on the transformer’s current has been proposed; Developed a precise interlocking reclosing device using an autonomous and controllable relay protection platform, and built a PSCAD/EMTDC simulation model for experimental verification; The device was applied in the substation project.
