High-Speed Simultaneous Wireless Power and Data Transfer System Based on Bucking Coil

For the simultaneous wireless power and data transfer system (SWPDT) of high-power level energy transmission, the coupling interference between the power channel and the data channel is the main challenge in achieving SWPDT system. This paper proposes a separate SWPDT system based on the decoupling structure of a bucking coil. By analyzing the mutual inductance model of the planar spiral coil, the communication coil structure was designed. The principle of magnetic field cancellation was utilized to achieve strong decoupling (coupling coefficients of the same/different sides ≤0.02) with the power coil. This system achieved a power transmission of 5 kW, with a peak efficiency of 95.6%. Even when the horizontal offset reaches 50% of the coil size, it can still stably achieve high-speed communication at 4 Mbps, significantly improving the anti-offset and reliability of energy-information simultaneous transmission in high-power industrial scenarios.
