C4F7N/CO2 mixed gas is potential to replace SF6 as an eco-friendly insulation gas and has been applied in 500 kV GIL and other equipment. Partial discharge may occur during equipment operation, leading to the decomposition of C4F7N/CO2 mixed gas and posing a threat to equipment reliability. At present, there is relatively little research on the decomposition products and mechanisms of C4F7N/CO2 mixed gas under continuous partial discharge conditions. Therefore, this article reports the experimental research results on the decomposition characteristics of C4F7N/CO2 mixed gas using needle tip corona discharge. Combined with GC-MS detection, typical decomposition product types were obtained. And the influence of different proportions of C4F7N was studied. It was found that under continuous partial discharge conditions, the main decomposition products were CO, CF4, as well as fluorocarbon gases such as C2F6, C3F8, and C3F6, and gases containing CN group such as CF3CN were also detected. The influence of factors such as the proportion of C4F7N, discharge time, and discharge amount on the gas generation characteristics is also analyzed. The research results can provide reference for equipment operation and maintenance using C4F7N/CO2 mixed gas.

摘要
