With the continuous expansion of power systems, the safe and stable operation of high-voltage transmission lines faces increasing challenges. As the primary structural support, power transmission towers (PTTs) play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and controllability of electric power delivery across the grid. Conventional displacement sensors are susceptible to electromagnetic interference, leading to reduced measurement accuracy. To address this issue, this study presents the development of a passive optical micro-displacement sensor with excellent immunity to electromagnetic interference, specifically designed for real-time monitoring of displacement in components of PTTs. The proposed sensor features a high resolution of 0.39 dBm/mm.
