Global Bifurcations in the Framework of GBT
摘要
Having explored local bifurcations in the framework of information geometry, we now turn to another essential bifurcation problem: global bifurcations in two-dimensional systems. As reviewed earlier, homoclinic bifurcations cannot be detected by CBT. Consequently, the study of this class of bifurcations is usually carried out by approximate methods, such as harmonic balance, Melnikov’s method, or numerical simulations.
