Research and Application of Complex Wellbore Disposal Technology for Jidong Oilfield Gas Storage

As an important component of natural gas storage facilities, gas storage plays a crucial role in energy storage and supply. The wellbore of gas storage facilities faces various complex problems during long-term operation, such as casing deformation and damage, falling objects blocking, poor wellbore integrity and sealing, which seriously affect the normal operation and production efficiency of gas storage facilities. This article focuses on the disposal technology of complex wellbore in gas storage facilities. In response to the reservoir characteristics and wellbore problems in Jidong Oilfield, efficient wellbore disposal processes have been studied, and three major technical series have been formed: deep inclined well long fall fish electric pump salvage technology, expansion tube milling technology, and casing milling technology. Three complex wells have been successfully repaired in Jidong Oilfield with a construction success rate of 100%, achieving safe and efficient disposal of complex wells and providing technical support for improving the efficiency and safety of gas storage wellbore disposal.
