Reasonable Fracturing Scale Investigation for Tight Gas Wells: A Case Study of Jinqiu Gas Field
摘要
Shaximiao tight sand gas reservoir in Jinqiu gas field has low porosity and low permeability with strong heterogeneous both in vertical and horizontal. Large-scale horizontal well hydraulic fracturing was carried out to improve the well productivity, with average proppant intensity of 5.05 t/m and average frac fluid intensity of 16.69 m3/m. However, the improvement of productivity tends to slow down when stimulation intensity increased, and there are big differences in gas production rate among various wells with same stimulation intensity. This study focus on providing a reliable practice with optimizing the parameters for fracturing process in Jinqiu gas field. Based on statistical analysis of reservoir data, stimulation data, well test data and EUR results, the key controlling factors of well productivity in Jinqiu gas field are investigated. It is found that the EUR, test production rate and open flow rate has good positive correlation with reservoir parameters such as pressure coefficient and gas content index. There is no obvious correlation between the flow potential with stimulation intensity, furthermore the EUR tends to be decreased obviously with the increase of the stimulation intensity in low production wells. Compared with Sulige tight gas reservoir, it is found that the average stimulation intensity of proppant/frac fluid in Jinqiu gas field is almost increased by 30 times, but the open flow rate is increased 130% only and EUR is increased 12.5%. It is considered that there exists over-stimulation in Jinqiu gas field. A recommended stimulation parameters were provided based on the analysis of actual production effects and the reservoir characteristics with the proppant intensity should be in range of 1–3t/m and the frac fluid intensity should be 5–10 m3/m.
