Design and Application of an Efficient Combined Code Encoding and Decoding Algorithm

摘要

This paper proposes an efficient combination code generation algorithm to address the issue of encoding and decoding efficiency in data transmission for logging-while-drilling (LWD) applications, aiming to optimize data transmission efficiency and enhance the flexibility of code table configuration. By thoroughly analyzing the basic encoding rules of combination codes and integrating the research achievements of existing combination code generation algorithms, a universal and efficient combination code generation algorithm is designed. The algorithm employs an innovative encoding concept, optimizing the combination code generation process into a dynamically adjustable encoding mode, which significantly improves encoding efficiency. During the validation process, the proposed algorithm was compared with traditional encoding methods to demonstrate its advantages in terms of encoding and decoding efficiency and accuracy. The algorithm was further applied to actual LWD engineering software, and the test results showed excellent performance in data transmission efficiency and system stability. The research findings indicate that the proposed efficient combination code generation algorithm holds significant application value in the LWD field. It not only enhances encoding and decoding efficiency but also improves system adaptability through flexible code table configuration, providing an innovative and effective solution for data transmission in LWD. The introduction of this algorithm offers new technical insights for the development of LWD technology, with important theoretical and practical significance.
