Application of Dual Correlation Flowmeter Technology Based on Internal Architecture of Old Oil Reservoir
摘要
With the in-depth implementation of fine reservoir management concepts in old oilfields, to assist in the precise tapping of remaining oil in old reservoirs, currently, as old oil reservoirs enter the medium-high water cut stage of development, the proportion of “dual high” reservoirs is gradually increasing. With the increasing precision requirements for reservoir dynamic analysis under the current concept of fine reservoir development, the accuracy of conventional correlation flow tests can no longer meet the demands of fine dynamic analysis for old reservoirs. Therefore, this article combines the dual-probe correlation flow method and improves test accuracy through tracking and spot measurement methods. The test resolution is enhanced to 1.5 m based on water flow magnitude and source distance. Additionally, this method is closely integrated with the challenges in water injection of describing single sandbody under reservoir internal architecture, facilitating the identification and characterization of water flow advantageous channels in old reservoirs.
