Research on VSP Processing Technology Driven by 3D Seismic

摘要

The VSP technology plays an important role in seismic exploration, but its wide application is limited due to the difficulty in matching and calibrating its imaging data with that of surface seismic. This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the differences between VSP and surface seismic in static correction, absorption and attenuation compensation, and near-surface reverberation suppression, and proposes the VSP processing technology driven by 3D seismic, including 3D surface seismic-driven VSP static correction processing technology, 3D surface seismic-driven VSP near-surface absorption and attenuation compensation processing technology, and 3D surface seismic-driven VSP near-surface reverberation suppression processing technology. Through actual data processing and imaging effect analysis, the results show that this method can significantly improve the calibration effect between VSP and 3D surface seismic imaging data, lay a solid foundation for subsequent joint interpretation, and also provide innovative ideas and methods for VSP processing and the integration of VSP and surface seismic.
