Research on Quantitative Prediction Technology for Fracture-Cavity Reservoirs in the Permian Maokou Formation in Zigong Area

摘要

The carbonate rocks of the Permian Maokou Formation in the Zigong area of southwest Sichuan Basin develop fracture-cavity reservoirs. The fracture-cavity body has large longitudinal thickness, irregular transverse direction, and strong heterogeneity, and its distribution is controlled by fault zones. Conventional coherent curvature ant bodies can only roughly reflect the fracture distribution. The external contour of the slit-hole body cannot be well described. To this end, this paper utilizes gradient structure tensor attributes combined with AI fault recognition technology. Based on three-dimensional seismic data. Use completed drilling data as the benchmark. A seismic prediction technology process for fracture-cavity reservoirs controlled by faults was established. Quantitatively depicts the plane distribution range, spatial shape and size of carbonate fracture-cavity bodies. It provides geophysical technical support for subsequent reserve submission and precise development in the Zigong area.
