The Research on Information Security Protocols for Space Heterogeneous Network

Space heterogeneous networks comprise various types of heterogeneous satellites. To enable secure interconnection between different types and security levels of satellites, and to achieve interconnection and communication among nodes in space networks, this paper discusses the shortcomings of existing space network security protocols and the current development trends of space networks. It proposes a multi-layered security protocol based on IP over CCSDS at the data link, network, transport, and application layers. This approach implements hierarchical and multi-level security strategies for information in space heterogeneous networks. Combining ground internet security protocols with CCSDS recommended protocols enhances the security of a space heterogeneous network.
