Clock Skew Estimation for V2X Networks
摘要
Advancements in technology have enabled vehicles to exchange information seamlessly. This communication is referred to as Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) and it allows interaction between vehicles and various entities such as other vehicles, infrastructure, networks, pedestrians, devices and even the power grid. A critical challenge within V2X networks is maintaining accurate time synchronization across all participating nodes. A common time reference is essential for ensuring proper scheduling, resource allocation and event sequencing. Although multiple synchronization protocols have been developed for V2X systems, this paper introduces a skew-based method for synchronization. The simulation outcomes demonstrate that the proposed clock skew estimation technique enhances overall efficiency.
