The Construction of an Intelligent Crane Operator Examination Hall Based on Multi-sensor Fusion and the MQTT Protocol
摘要
To further enhance the fairness and objectivity of crane operator examinations and ensure the quality and authority of special equipment operator qualification assessments, this study designed and implemented an intelligent crane operator examination system based on multi-sensor fusion technology and the MQTT wireless communication protocol. First, the system deploys multiple sensors to collect real-time multi-source data during operations, including hook trajectories, crane operational status, operator behavior, and surrounding environmental conditions. Second, leveraging the lightweight MQTT protocol, the system achieves efficient, stable, and low-latency transmission of sensor data, effectively resolving data synchronization and communication reliability issues. Finally, at the data processing level, this study integrates and analyzes data from different sensors to comprehensively quantify the operator’s compliance with operational standards, precision, and safety awareness. This system not only eliminates reliance on manual evaluation, significantly reducing scoring biases from subjective factors, but also achieves fully automated and intelligent management throughout the entire process—from exam monitoring and error detection to score generation. Multiple field tests and comparative experiments demonstrate the system’s stable operation, rapid response, and strong practicality, confirming its readiness for implementation in actual crane operator practical examinations.
