Policy Standards for Urban Residential Buildings
摘要
Energy efficiency standards and labeling, as a crucial energy-saving management system in the field of end-use energy consumption, serve as an important means for all countries to address energy supply shortages and achieve sustainable development. International experience has proven that when the energy efficiency standards and labeling are applied to end-use energy products such as household appliances, which have a high penetration rate and consume a large amount of energy, the benefits obtained by the country will far exceed the costs increased for implementing the energy efficiency standard label project and producing high-energy-efficiency products. China’s energy efficiency standards and labeling programme originated in the 1980s and the beginning of this century respectively. The former is the technical basis and criterion for the industry, while the latter is the information transfer and product promotion carrier for consumers. The two are closely coordinated and dovetailed with each other, jointly promoting the advancement of energy conservation efforts in the field of end-use energy consumption.
