Biogas Production from Citrus Waste
摘要
Addressing greenhouse gas emissions and reducing climate change are two of the most important issues facing humanity today and in the years to come. Therefore, it is critical to switch to renewable energy sources like biogas from fossil fuels. Biogas can be generated as a byproduct of industrial activities or from a variety of organic waste streams (Foastat 2014). The economic crisis has recently caused fossil fuel prices to decline and hampered the hunt for alternatives. As a result, the more developed nations still rely on nations that may not be trustworthy because of their unpredictable political systems and the harm that greenhouse gas emissions cause to the environment. These nations try their best efforts to combat climate change should include plans to alter the energy supply system. These nations are becoming less and less compatible with the various facets of sustainability. In order to ensure higher sustainability, this system should rely less on fossil fuels and more on renewable energy sources (Ciriminna et al. 2024).
